The 2025 Jayno Heights Grand Marshall for the July 4th Parade is Donna Watchpocket.  Donna and her husband Norman have lived in the Jayno Heights subdivision for 21 years.  She attended school in Waterford at Mason and graduated from Kettering High School.  Norman graduated from Mott High School.

Norman’s dream was to own a bakery, so when Pete’s oven became available they were able to purchase it.  Pete’s has been around for 50 years.  Donna and Norman have owned it for 25 years.  They love to see Jayno Heights neighbors visit the bakery. The day I talked to Donna a fellow neighbor was in picking up a cake to celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary.

They have four children that all graduated from Mott High School.  Their daughter Trisha and son Wesley work at the bakery and all 16 of their grandchildren have worked there.

Donna loves their house and their neighbors. She loves our beach lot and being close to the water.  She enjoys all the activities the Jayno Heights subdivision offers.

Watch for Donna in the parade riding and waving from the green Mustang convertible.
