In Memoriam - Nick Valente

Our thoughts and prayers are with Lynne and the Valente family for the loss of husband, Father, Veteran, JHLA treasurer, and neighbor on Thursday, December 5th, 2019.

Nick was a landmark in our neighborhood and loved by his neighbors. He was always there, always ready to chat, always ready to help, always giving us his honest opinion, and always there with his quick wit.

His skills as treasurer will be greatly missed. He kept immaculate records and cared so deeply about Jayno Heights: collecting of dues, posting of neighborhood email, writing the checks, balancing the accounts, reporting out, handling of keys, maintenance, addressing the account balances with home transactions, you name it, he did it, all year long. It is Nicks efforts that allowed us to make the improvements we all enjoy.

We lost a great neighbor and a great friend.

There will be no memorial service. His ashes will be interned at the Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly.
