Beach Lot Erosion

Hello Neighbors -

The shoreline of our beach lot has been eroding for some time in the area from the beach to the point (300 feet). The attached picture shows a satellite overlay comparing 1980 to 2017. Every year we are losing land due to wind, increased boat traffic and the increase in wakeboard boats.

We have made a study with a list of possible proposals from a limestone seawall to a rip rap shore line. Costs would range from $12,000 to $20,000. This may require a special assessment per household.

Message From The Treasurer Re: JHLA Dues
