Volunteers Needed!

Hello JHLA Members!

We currently have an opening on the JHLA Board for the position of Secretary. We are looking for a volunteer to complete the current term though September 2021. Based on the by-laws, the expectations for this role are as follows:

Section 8: The Secretary shall make and keep accurate records of actions taken at all meetings of members and directors, shall give a written report of the same at the next meeting, shall handle the correspondence of the Association and shall issue the notices of meetings.

Committee Positions Open

Hello JHLA Members!

We are looking for volunteers to serve on and/or lead a committee to look at our membership dues:

• As mentioned at our last general membership meeting, balancing of the budget has become difficult due to the rising costs of general services (Electric, Water, Lawn Service, etc). Members of this committee would be expected to review our current budget to determine if and/or how much of a dues increase may be needed to cover expected costs over the next 5 years. The expectation is that a proposal would be presented to the Board at the September board meeting.
