Finney and Molly Abraham, have lived in Jayno Heights for 34 years. They are this year's grand marshals for the July 4th parade.

They have been married 41 years and raised a daughter (Tina) and a son (John), who attended Jayno Adams Elementary, Mason Middle School and Mott High School.

Tina is a Doctor and specializes in Allergy, Immunology and Asthma. She has private practices in Rochester Hills and Lapeer. She attended Wayne State and Michigan State University.

John is a Doctor of Family Medicine, practicing at a McLaren outpatient clinic in Pontiac. He attended Michigan State University and a Medical School in the Caribbean on the island of Dominica.

They were attracted to the Jayno Heights neighborhood because of its beauty and quietness. It was also close to Finney’s parents and the schools.

Their favorite thing about living in Jayno Heights is the neighbors. Everyone is very friendly and always wave when they are outside. They also love the private beach lot and walking in the neighborhood.

Finney worked at General Motors headquarters in Warren for 40 years. He was a Manager in Engineering. While working full time he took classes and studied the Bible and now is an Ordained Minister at a Full Gospel Christian Church in Farmington Hills (he started the church 27 years ago). He received his PHD in Theology.

Molly was a nurse in Mental Health Therapy in Ypsilanti. She worked in the Michigan State Prison System at the Huron Valley Correction Facility for 25 years.

They live at 2997 Francesca Drive. Please wave and stop to say hi if you’re walking past. They love their neighbors and this neighborhood. ❤
