Dear Jayno Heights Landowners Association Members,
While providing our permit to destroy goose eggs the state has also stipulated that we make the following notification:
Please be aware that various associations have contracted to have a Geese Egg Shake operation occur on Loon Lake, Schoolhouse Lake, and Lower Silver Lake this year. This will be completed by a state approved contractor: “Goose Busters”. These activities will occur between April 11th and May 10th. , 2026.
I feel the egg shakedown is a waste. Last year when they apparently did it we had more geese than I’ve ever seen before. Unless we are going to have a real goose roundup done, we should consider spending money elsewhere.
